Kerri worked in film production for six years before founding With Spine Films in 2004 under which banner she directed the BIFA nominated documentary, 100 Doors. The feature length documentary opened the Outside Season for Channel 4 and earned itself a host of nominations from every festival it entered.

In 2005, Kerri wrote and directed her first venture into fiction, We Won The War, which won at Cinquest, LA and the East End Film Festival. Her next short film, Necromance, won at the London Short Film Festival and screened at festivals internationally.

In 2009, Kerri joined forces with Vennerfilm onThat Thing You Drew which won the Audience Award at Warsaw 2010, the Jury Prize at Kinemastik 2010, earned an Honorary Mention at LA International 2010 and was nominated for the Comedy Award at the London Short Film Festival 2011. There I Am is their second short together.

In 2010, their co-written treatment was selected from across Europe for the Sources 2 script development workshop, held in Norway. Kerri has recently written a story In Sickness and In Healthwhich has received development funding to be adapted as a screenplay.

In 2013, Kerri is working with script editor Christabelle Dilks (Tyrannosaur) on her feature script Circle The Sun. In November Shooting a 7 minute fictional film for the fashion label ARIES
